Several of these don't sound like a string of mindless Sasquatch attacks. But Bigfoot is still my least favourite cryptid. I'll take sea/lake monsters, living dinosaurs, and unrecognizable creatures over what is little more than an oversized monkey.

Still an entertaining read though, despite my prejudices. Thank you for putting them on my radar.

I was hoping and was rewarded by your inclusion of shriek of the mutilated! I totally enjoyed what you said about the film creating its own alternate reality. That is a perfect description of the film! LOL John L. I'm sure watching Boggy Creek in a theater was a different experience. I'm pretty sure the scene where the arm crashed through a window was recycled for another Bigfoot documentary. Sasquatch Mountain is a new one to me. I need to check it out, if only for Henriksen. Glad you liked the new (one time only) ratings. ;)Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-45464450615086584312021-06-22T17:06:42.103-07:002021-06-22T17:06:42.103-07:00Thanks, Gill! I've had the distinct privilege of seeing Legend of Boggy Creek in an old rundown downtown theater. Some of the audience screamed at a couple of scenes.
Some time ago when we lived in Flagstaff, AZ, we heard that a movie company, including Lance Henriksen (!), was coming to town to film a bigfoot movie. We were bitterly disappointed when they changed locations at the last minute. Got the movie on DVD anyway - Sasquatch Mountain ('06). Pretty stinky, but at least it has Lance. P.S.: Love the "visibility ratings"!Brian Schuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08463833554200343247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-74935557924541077772021-06-22T03:20:46.010-07:002021-06-22T03:20:46.010-07:00Great selection here Barry.. you can tell you got ...Great selection here Barry.. you can tell you got a kick out of all these films.
