I haven't heard that rumor, but it wouldn't surprise me, given the examples you mentioned (Hammer's 1959 Mummy and The Man Who Cheated Death also come to mind). Munro's career was all too short.

P.S. - Looking forward to reading your post when it's ready!Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-60323140861318825642019-09-06T13:22:14.729-07:002019-09-06T13:22:14.729-07:00Great write-up Barry! There's always been rumors that Munro did a full-on topless scene here as this was time period when British produces would sometimes film alternate scenes for a "continental" version such as in JACK THE RIPPER or THE FLESH AND THE FIENDS, but nothings ever surfaced. She's quite good here (and in THE CRAWLING EYE). I always liked her. Too bad her life went sadly downhill soon after this. I watched it on a British import disc, but you might check YouTube (not sure if it would have the tinted scenes, though).Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-3342514934145229262019-09-03T10:17:59.972-07:002019-09-03T10:17:59.972-07:00A good review, Barry!
