I think watching the Airplane movies first will give you proper perspective for Airport and its sequels (although I can't really recommend Airport '79). Let me know what you think if you see them! :) Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-12952987963611478662020-12-11T19:38:56.505-08:002020-12-11T19:38:56.505-08:00This was a fun and funny 4 in 1 review, Barry! n

The other three all have their charms.Rick29https://www.blogger.com/profile/08358116647815569722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-72020552237963532020-12-11T08:12:08.764-08:002020-12-11T08:12:08.764-08:00Thank you so much, Gill! Airport 1975 was such a vital part of my childhood, as well as the Airport '77 Universal Studios experience. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the lucky audience members who participated, but it was great fun just watching the show. I will keep an eye out for Skyjacked, and will definitely check out your review. I also plan to give Zero Hour (the basis for Airplane!) a try as well. Cheers! :)Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1463671176628323648.post-25092648763412698362020-12-11T00:38:17.129-08:002020-12-11T00:38:17.129-08:00I adored this quadruple bill Barry of my favourite...I adored this quadruple bill Barry of my favourite franchise.. but now I desperately want to see the Airport 77 version starring you. Also good on you for adding The Concorde one, I've still to review that one (after reviewing the others) but now you've inspired me I'd forgotten what a fabulous cast there is. Now you have to review Skyjacked (1972), Heston saves the day again with a pipe and there's flashbacks instead of split screen. All the gorey details on my blog if you can't face another Airport film just now. And thanks for highlighting Lee Grant and Christopher Lee's dysfunctional relationship, I would easily watch a prequel with just them (and poss Gil Gerard).
